SWW: Something Worthwhile
Something Worthwhile is a ministry of Epworth UMC for women in Chickasha and surrounding communities. We gather to celebrate the joy that Jesus Christ brings to our lives through warm, Christian fellowship, inspirational music and speakers.
Ladies attending enjoy an evening of fellowship, a home-cooked meal, inspirational music and speakers, door prizes, free nursery care for ages 3 – 8, and often have an opportunity to donate to local charitable organizations such as Santa’s Workshop, Salvation Army, Epworth's Samaritian Fund and the local food pantry.
Speakers for our events have ranged from women from the local community to high profile women throughout the state. All address their faith in Jesus Christ and how their lives have been influenced by God’s grace.
